The Matrix Resurrections concept art - 02

Concepts for Trinity's rescue: that was great fun to work on that scene where I got to play with the original "Matrix aesthetic" that I first discovered over 20 years ago, and that's influenced me so much ever since. The design of that environment was based on the amazing work of both @GeofDarrow and @georgehull during the film's pre-production.
For this particular scene, Lana Wachowski wanted Kujaku to lift Trinity out of her pod in a very gentle manner, as if she was a newborn baby. I tried to convey that feeling in contrast to the harsh and unwelcoming environment where the scene is taking place.
